About Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
Electronics is fundamental to many of the electrical and electronic appliances that we use today. This makes the job of an electronic engineer both exciting and challenging.
The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2007 with an intake of 60 students and increased to 90 in the academic year 2008-09 and in the academic year 2010-11 the intake of students increased to 120, later the intake increased to 180 in the academic year 2012-13.
Specialisations of Faculty cover all major fields like Device Electronics, Communications, Signal Processing, Embedded Systems and VLSI Design.
ECE Department has 14 well established Laboratories which cater to the needs of UG.
