Artificial intelligence (AI) is the establishment of the theory and development of computer systems that can perform activities ordinarily requiring human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, translation, and interpretation. Machine learning is an approach to data analysis that enables the automatic creation of analytical models. Adoption of AI and ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) is on the rise. As part of their efforts to become more agile, resilient, innovative, and scalable, businesses throughout the world are increasingly embracing AI/ML. SIIET provides a four-year undergraduate B.Tech (CSE AI/ML) programme for building a solid groundwork in the principles and technologies that comprise many aspects of Artificial Intelligence, such as logic, knowledge representation, probabilistic models, and Machine Learning. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to design intelligent solutions for a wide range of business problems across a number of domains and business applications, as well as investigate topics like neural networks, NLP, robotics, deep learning, Computer Vision, reasoning, and problem-solving.
