INTRODUCTION

The college library plinth area of 650 Sq.mtrs. library is automated with NEWGENLIB Software through Barcode technology and well- established Digital library with good Internet facility. Updated collections. The library consists of 24432 volumes with 4391 titles of all branches, apart from books and print journals there are more than 65000 + Full Text e-journals available from J-Gate Engineering & Technology, DELNET.

The LIBRARY is a USER – FRIENDLY LIBRARY with well-designed set up consisting of comprehensive collection of valuable books, Indian and International Journals, E- resources, Competitive books like GATE, GRE, TOEFL, Aptitude, Communication skills, Soft skills material, Project Reports, Back Issues of Periodicals, Paper Clippings and Non-Book Materials to impart the highest quality of education. The Library contributes its efforts in improving the standards of teaching-learning inorder to meet the needs of students and the faculty.

Periodicals Section

The library has separate periodicals section and subscribed Print National, International Journals and Magazines to provides the staff and students latest information’s in technical education, research and development activities.

Reference Section

The reference section of the library has rich collection of Indian and International editions of Text and reference books, Rare books, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Competitive books, Soft Skill books, GATE, GRE, TOEFL materials and various other reference documents in all disciplines.

Back Volumes

Back volumes of journals have been neatly separated and categorized under their respective titles with subjects for reference. Project reports also arranged subject wise.

Competitive Section

The library has good collections of competitive material for various exams. The competitive section which is part of reference section and also providing with latest General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Aptitude books, Verbal-Non Verbal books, GATE, GRE, GMA, TOEFL,etc.

Library Rules

  • SILENCE & CLEANLINESS should be strictly maintained in & around the Library Students are advised to maintain Silence in the Library Premises.
  • Each Student is eligible for 4 (Four) Non Transferable Library Borrower Cards on which he/she can borrow Books for a Period of 15 Days. These Library Cards must be Renewed at the beginning of each SEMESTER.
  • Avoid making Pencil / Pen Marks, Underlining, or any other type of Damage to the Book(s).
    Any marking or writing in the book is strictly prohibited.
  • In case the Book is lost, the Borrower has to REPLACE the Same Edition or the LATEST EDITION of the missed book.
  • Borrowers should RETURN the books ON or BEFORE the Due Date. Defaulter will be fined late returning of books.
  • REFERENCE BOOKS are NOT for ISSUE and they should be referred WITHIN the Library only.
  • WATCH the Notice Board of the Library & Information Centre every time you visit.Consult the Library Staff on Duty for any other Information or Clarification.
  • Misbehavior in the library will lead to cancellation of membership and also attracts serious disciplinary action.
  • The College Library works on all working days between 8.30am.6.00 p.m depending on timetable
  • Every Faculty / Student Entering Into The Library Should Sign The Entry Register.
  • All The Students Should Return Their Library Borrower Cards After Completion Of their Course And Obtain A “No-Due” Certificate From The Library.
