Functions of the cell

  • A grievance cell is established in this college to resolve any types of disputes among students..
  • The college is provided with many grievance boxes.
  • Stakeholders will drop the grievance listed in a paper in the box.
  • Resolve grievances develop in college.
  • Maintain confidentiality in partiality transparency.
  • Established grievance free college enrolment.
  • Grievance cell equipped with atom of grievance analysers.
  • To resolve the disputes prevailing among students or any other issues.
  • To create a professional environment for sustainable development.
  • Encourage the students to show responsibilities for professional engineering practice.
  • To enhance effective communication to showcase your grievance verbally or through grievance box.
  • Encourage the students to practice disputes free communication behaviour used for their whole life.

Facilities of the cell

  • The person is unwilling to appear in self, grievances may be dropped in writing at the letterbox/ suggestion box of the Grievance Cell across the institute .
  • Grievances may also be sent through e-mail to the officer in-charge of Students’ Grievance Cell.

Committee composition

Committee consists of one senior faculty as a coordinator and one faculty member from each department and one student member from each section.

Academic committee

Academic committee meets twice in year to review various academic activities under taken by the institution.

Responsibilities of the committee:

  • Arranging teaching requirements for successful completion of academic programs of the college and supervising the same periodically.
  • Facilitating Controller of Examinations for making arrangements for conducting examinations, as per the norms of JNTUH.
  • Recommending the Governing Body for providing the necessary infrastructural, human resources and other requirements for progressing towards achievement of the vision of the college.
  • Inspiring students to be creative and innovative and recommending management to encourage them with financial support towards the same.

Role of the coordinator

  • The facts shall try to redress the grievance within a reasonable time, preferably within a week of the receipt of the complaint.
  • If the student is not satisfied with the verdict or solution of the Programme Coordinator, as the case may be then the same should be placed before the Head of the Institution that is Principal.
  • The Principal shall, if necessary refer the same to the respective College level committee (Students Grievance Redressal Cell) for redressal.

Role of the student member

  • An aggrieved student who has any grievances at the Programme level shall make an application first to the Programme Coordinator/Class Coordinator/ Mentor as the case may be.
  • The institution provides mechanism to the students for redressal of their grievances with regard to their complaints on academic and non-academic matters.On approval, the final decision would be communicated to the student through the concerned Head of the Institute.

Role of faculty member

  • To enlighten the students on their duties and responsibilities to access benefits due to under the policies.
  • To establish structured interactions with students to elicit information on their expectations.
