About Department of Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana is an autonomous body constituted under section 6 of A.P. Education Act Dated: 24-04-1984. The Board is headed by exofficio Chairman and Commissioner of Technical Education and other officials constituted by the Government. In Sri Indu Institute of Engineering & Technology, Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 2014 with an intake of 60 students.
To produce creative and innovative dynamic professionals in changing world of technologies. Organising regular interactive sessions in the department by conducting workshops on the latest trends in technology. By developing human, social and intellectual qualities necessary for the successful practice of the profession.The curriculum was focus on understanding electronic networks and devices, electric magnetic fields, communications. Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering students uses the concepts in electronics to develop the knowledge in communication, embedded system devices and equipments using ARM and 8051, 8086 ect. It deals with recent trends in communication technology via wire/wireless networks.
Course Duration
The Course for the Diploma in Electronics & communication Engineering for the period of three academic years, consisting of 6 semesters. In the V th semester, the students do the project work to expose their learning and practical skills. In the last semester, the students undergo to the Industrial Training to sharpen their technical skills and learn the Industry oriented knowledge. It helps to reduce the gap between Industry and Institutions.
