About Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
The Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department was established in the year 2013 with an intake of 60.
Since inception the Department strives for excellence in teaching, research and professional services to the industry so as to achieve eminence in selected niche areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department has excellent link with leading industries and has a well-connected alumni network. the course pattern has been significantly revised in pace with modern trends and demands of present day. The curriculum is updated from time to time as per the recommendations of the Board of Studies.
The department also has the credit of organizing Workshops, Industrial tours, Internships to the students. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in research publications, short-term courses, FDPs and workshops by the management of the college. Infrastructure facilities include well equipped laboratories such as Electrical Machines laboratory, Power Systems and simulation Laboratory, Circuits and Networks laboratory, Electrical Measurements laboratory, Power Electronics Laboratory, Electrical workshop and Departmental Library.
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering is dedicated to the current needs of industry with the flexibility to tune its programmers’ according to different requirements. Application of new technology in various fields is one of the main focuses in the activities of the department. Develop skilled engineers to meet industry needs and hence develop responsible citizens for our country and society
